Saint Peter’s Community Mobile Health Services
The Saint Peter’s Community Mobile Health Unit serves to bring healthcare services to residents who can’t get to the hospital. The 34-foot health van visits schools, retirement communites, day care centers, homeless shelters, senior centers, public housing complexes, shopping centers, corporations and more. The unit is staffed with advanced practice and registered nurses.
Services include: audio screenings, cholesterol screenings, derma scan facial screenings, follow-up health care, healthcare education, height/weight/body mass index measurements, immunization testing, osteoporosis screenings, referrals for community health care services, skin cancer screenings, stroke risk assessment screenings, and vision screenings.
The Community Mobile Health Unit was grant funded and we are licensed by the state of New Jersey. The van fulfills Saint Peter’s mission to serve our community in a most direct way and has become a symbol of their commitment to the public.
